We can indeed speak of a great success for the new format of the French Week inaugurated by the Deputy Prime Minister, She Okitundu, Alain Rémy, Ambassador of France, and Ambroise Tshiyoyo, President of the CCIFC, last June 13. This fifth edition, where more than 300 personalities from the economic world gathered around the theme "Securing business in the DRC, a necessity, a challenge", has indeed imposed itself as one of the key economic events of the year in the capital.
The stated objective of "conveying key elements of understanding the economic framework to decision-makers so that they can manage their enterprises in an informed manner" seems to have been achieved. Few discordant voices, in any case, among the 250 or so people who attended the conferences every day or the 150 regular participants in the thematic workshops. Beyond the change of framework for the speakers and the 45 exhibitors, M&B has retained the strong dynamic around B2B meetings and the beautiful media coverage which, in these times of crisis, has brilliantly demonstrated the resilience and tenacity of the Congolese economic ecosystem.
